Nose shows plums and blueberries with a slight undertone of flowers and dirt. The palate was big and still somewhat tannic, showing an earthen tones with hints of dark berries, particularly blackberries with a smidgen of cassis.

Rosso: This is a big, but bold monster, with lots of frt, but lots of char., exctract, well-bal, well made. This is a GOOD super Napa.

The nose had a delicious mix of cocoa powder and blackberry jam. It also had some tobacco and vanilla. In the mouth it was rich and big, with tobacco layered by cassis, plum, raspberry, and vanilla. It finished with a nice cinnamon flavor.

Loads of red and black fruit but totally disjointed. Tannins didn't bother me nearly as much as the overwhelming acidity. I liked it a lot and found myself going back for more knowing all the while I was going to have some Tums for dessert. No clue where this is going and not likely I'll be there when it arrives.
