Sauvignon Blanc blind tasting with friends (Budapest) : Very dark yellow color. Strong and heavy buttery aroma, maybe with a hint of barrel aging (?). Flavor: concentrated, oily, slightly reminiscent of aszú, with some acidity. It was obvious that this wine was a lot older than the rest of them.

Tasty. I would have liked to see more acid, but overall good wine. Had this with turkey sausage, peppers and onions.

Pale in color. Very citrusy in nose with grapefruit and lime. Palate similar with strong citrus/grapefruit. Very decent wine for a tenner.

Clean & healthy, nice fruit, medium acid, well balanced. Medium finish. Would buy again.

This went great with a spicy tilapia cebiche. Lovely fruity nose of peach, lime, and passion fruit. Medium weight on the lively palate. Crisp and tangy on the finish. Loved it. I would place this beside my favorite NZ SB bottlings, Babich & Shepherd's Ridge.

Nice, fruity nose, crisp, acidic flavors, decent finish. Would buy again for under $15.

Half a glass at Vinotecca, in Reidel crystal. Cost $5.50. The appearance is light golden. The nose is very aromatic and citrusy. There is a bit of "pleasant cat pee" aroma. The taste is almost fierce (it is strong but pleasant). The finish is long. This is much more citrusy than the Groth Napa S.B. tasted today. This was the best of the three tasted in the flight, and arguably the better of the 2 SBs. Four star value. Overall, …

Grapefruit and white pepper on the nose. Lively acidity and citrus on the palate. Very smooth finish, lingering. A crisp and elegant wine! Salud!

Sampled from the wine tasting machinery at Papa Joe's in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Cost $0.72 per ounce. The appearance is very light in colour. The nose is very grassy (pleasantly so). The taste is the same as the nose, but intenser. The finish is medium in length. I have come to rely on the Kiwis' Marlborough subregion for good quality Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is no exception. Delish (very good).
