Had a nose of warm electric train engine from when I was a kid. Some oak and hint of green plums. Sour strawberry on front palate but even for age still a little acidic.

Has improved substantially with age. Not quite as good as the 2008, but starting to resemble it much more. Raspberry and cinnamon nose. Medium weight. Spice continues on the finish. Excess heat on the finish can be distracting if consumed at room temperature, but chilling to 60F takes care of this without harming the rest of the experience. Good QPR.

Somewhat of a disappointment. Served at 65 deg with taco's. Nose of berrys and burnt electric motor. Had odd finish that I cant quite describe. Will serve next bottle at lower temp.

A nose of cherry and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Zinfandel with black cherry, raspberry, spicy finish, a good value, not a great as 2008 but close.
