Similar to previous note. 1.5 hour decant and really good at this point. Fruit is still rich on the nose. Time has done wonders for this wine.

1 hour decant. Drinking much better now. Bottle age has helped

amazing how rough this wine is at this age. It is showing no signs of domestication. I need to sit on the remaining bottles for another year or two and check back.

This was a 1 hour decant. This wine finally seems to be entering a more idea drinking window. The nose offered more black fruit and less wood than I remeber. It was easy to drink and round on the finish. I have more of this so I am thinking that within the next 3 years, I will be enjoying this wine. Well worth the wait.

Coming round slowly and still needs time. Full fruit with softening tannins. Gaining structure. Now down to one bottle so it can go on the odd bottles rack for five years.

Decanted this wine for 3 hours and consumed over 5 hours. The color of this wine is very dark. After 3 hours the wine seemed like it needed more time. Still a little hot and fruit is not entirely evident. After 5 hours the fruit came forward along with some kirsch. This is a solid wine and if I can stay away from it for another 3 years it should be in a much better place.

Decanted for 4 hours. I had one glass of it and was too distracted to take detailed mental notes. The wine seemed good, but I will reserve judgement until the next bottle.

Tasted this wine recently and it is still a touch hard. Opens up and needs 24 hrs decanting and some good food to go with it.

Black as night, luscious dense nose with lots of blackberry liqueur scent. Equally voluptuous in the mouth. 'like drinking Blackadder's britches' said one of the gang. Hedonistic but without heaviness.

16% abv on the label with an almost blue-purple colour. Expressive with black cherries and blueberries along meaty and inky notes. No overt oak influence. Dense and juicy on palate with firm tannins, precise fruit and great freshness. Very concentrated with persistent finish. Still very young will improve with ageing.

Tasted the 2008 at the producer's house and this wine is still waiting to open up and develop. This is a big wine, and I am sure in 2-3 years, will be really drinkable.
