Donnachiara, Greco di Tufo

Tasted at the Vinitaly International Academy in Verona. 100% Greco di Tufo. Bright, medium yellow. The nose is clean, somewhat closed, with aromas of peach, apricot, grapefruit and a hint of smoke. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, a hint of tannin and medium (+) alcohol. A creamier and fleshier version than many Greco di Tufo, this has a nice savory minerality on the finish. Drink over the next year or two, not intended for aging.
