Strong tannins, ran it through a venturi, and decanted it for more than an hour period still had could solid tannins on it needs a few more years of aging I think. However it was really good. Notes of cherry, green raspberry and licorice. The tail was about 10 seconds. Not real good but better than a lot of them.We had it with steak and it went very well. We had it on our 44th wedding anniversary.

Nice bottle in that $20 price range. I would probably air it out a bit more next time, maybe 30min in a decanter would have been better,

Really grapey on the nose. Like a Paso cab. ROunded and easy does it. Very soft tannins.

Medium ruby/magenta. ~ Dark fruit driven with pretty heavy oak. The flavour notes aren’t so much van1lla as they are cedar or tobacco which I am not sure what that indicates fundamentally. ~ Some black cherry Tannins notes low and outside in mouth indicative of cab. Some leather and graphite notes are present too. Bold, medium acid, good length but generally the quality falls along the duration.
