Cherries, plums and some savoury notes on the nose. Medium bodied with good acidity, nice finish and clear cool climate characteristics.

Decanted for 2 hours and consumed over the next three days. This is not your overly ripe and sweet aussie shiraz. It rather displays all notes you would expect in combination with a good dose of acidity balanced by a properly applied oak treatment. I actually enjoyed this less full body version compared to so many overripe ones. The wine held up really well over the three days which together with the acidity might indicate it could give some pleasure …

Deep, dense and brooding red. Spice and mint on the nose. A big soft mouthfeel of warm red fruit. Very light hidden tannins that may emerge later but for now it is just a full body smooth big soft red. Probably needs more breathing time or just wait 5 years.

XDry. Med+ acidity. Med tannins. Med+ body. Med+ finish. Deep ruby red, magenta hues. Medium tears. Very perfumed nose of black cherries, blackcurrant, white pepper and violet. Palate has great body with plush tannins and flavours of dark fruits, mint, pepper and a slight minerality. Acidity seems bit on the higher side but still balanced. Great balance between fruit and herbaceousness. Great QPR.

Robust and beautifully balanced. Silky tannin structure and juicy sweet dark stone fruits. Gorgeous now, but looking forward to seeing it evolve over the next decade.

Cherry, plums, milk chocolate, some white pepper, spice, and herbs. A cherry ripe quality. Though I don't mean sweet or big and bold, this is restrained, measured, everything in its place. Balance and length excellent or better, thick yet soft tannin. Didn't set my heart racing but that's a style thing, the quality is clear.

Very purple colour. Very perfumed nose, with strong notes of lavender, blackcurrant, violet, blueberry, and cola. Palate shows firm, driving acidity over rough, grainy tannin. Flavours of lemon juice, blackcurrant, and violet, with a touch of pepper.
