medium ruby. clear colour with lighter brick colour reflexes. nose: dried flowers - mainly roses; ripe red cherries with stones, black cherries, red currants; dried red cherries - bit tart - plus fresh floral notes - freesia. Some earthiness and minerality. taste: high acidity, full body; robust fruit - black and red cherries, plums - slightly sweet; high tannins volume, small grains but in the whole mouth. long finish.

Lovely, elegant, fruit-driven and modern style Nebbiolo. Bit closed still, but you can feel the energy, and it has a lengthy and complex finish. Don't let the first impression fool you, let it grow on you. Medium intense aromas of red cherry, red plum, redcurrant, blueberry, violets, aniseed, espresso, leather. A terrific, classic Nebbiolo Langhe from a wonderful traditional producer. The 16s are going to be great wines.

Raspberry, clear with lighter rim. Excellent. Nose: roses, tea, some cherries with Stones; robust tart and bitter finished. taste: harsh, young tannins but of a good quality. tart, crisp cherries. fresh but with full mouth. Almonds and some Stones in the finish. very good. Wait.
