Full yellow. Intriguing nose of cream soda, rancid nuts and baked apple. Lovely flavours of lemon, chalk, grapefruit and a touch of toffee. Rich, but with a subtle bitterness. Dry. Really fine.

Nose fresh and waxy, white flowers with a touch of classic petrol. On the palate beeswax, lanolin. Green apples. Slight bitterness on the finish. Overall though, the nose hints at more than the palate delivers.

Very little more evolution from my note about 2 years ago, just perhaps a tad softer and more complex. Very good.

This wine tasted quite evolved for its 5 years showing a well developed fragrant and spicy bouquet sprinkled with kerosene and a medium+ plus palate, subjectively dry but with a touch of RS, quite rich fruit, discreet minerality, a burnished undertow, fragrant overlay, soft texture and fresh acidity. Very good.
