Brilliant Pinot, in its natural prime. Nose of cherry, dried strawberries and deep forest floor. Opens up to flavors of Spanish Leather, moss and sour cherries and Christmas cake. What a joy to drink with Thanksgiving leftovers.

Appearance: clear, medium ruby with a slight thin watery rim. starting to turn garnet. Nose: medium plus intensity, cherry, raspberry, black cherry, bit of chocolate, damp earth forest floor, turned leaves. Old World vibe Palate: aromas confirmed on palate, plus subtle oak notes of spice (cinnamon/ nutmeg), smoke and chocolate. I'm not a fan of many California pinots, but this over-delivered for the price. Medium body, chalky mouthfeel, perfumed, floral, cherry, strawberry. Real fruit, real delicious. Burgundy feel with a much bigger punch.
