A good value at $14. Light to medium bodied, with medium acid, enough fruit and some tannins to balance it out. Medium alcohol at 13%. This is what you get when you order generic table wine in Italy (that’s a compliment). Definitely decant before serving.

Needs decanting to best show its character: A pretty bouquet, notes of mineral/saline, reminds one of unagi. Light in body, integrated tannins, medium acid. Paired well with the veggie pizzas: cauliflower/olive; squash/thyme.

Muted red fruit on the nose...tannins are well integrated into the body...probably wait too long to drink it. It was just ok...

This is a chianti classico, good balance of tannin and fruit that allows the palate to linger.

A bit lighter than I am use to for a Chianti. Not bad, but can't say I love it.

Thin color and taste. Past its time.
