Drank over the course of 3 consecutive days & similar each. Cherry red colour with a tinge of bricking. On the nose and palate bright red cherry is the standout, a bit of oak and vanilla.

No rating - this was spoiled although the cork was in great shape with no red color above the very bottom

Decanted for 1.5 hours before starting to drink. We had this same wine a couple of weeks ago from friends who brought it to dinner. It was so god I decided to return the favor and open a bottle from my cellar for dinner with a different couple. It is elegant yet easy. Well defined flavors that pretty clearly say, "Napa cab" but yet say it in an elegant and gracious way. Was fabulous with 1.5 inch thick grilled bone-in …

Friends brought this to dinner. Hooray for friends who bring wonderful wine! Just a wonderful, classy Napa cabernet. Paired with grilled lamb chops - excellent.

Very fragrant wine of berries, oak, and leather. First impressions of a very smooth full bodied wine beginning with berry notes and sliding toward vanilla and chocolate notes and then finishing with a bit of earthiness with a hint of oak. Very long finish and very delectable!

I am surprised that no one has commented on this wine...wow! The wine gives an appearance of garnet/purple color, a full body with a polished texture and long finish - with me so far? The aromas of blackberry and red currant provide a inviting scent. The flavors of blackberry and red currant add to a very, in my opinion, highly regarded wine. I have sat on this wine for several years without ever trying this vineyard, my loss! Please consider …

Textbook Napa Cab, very classically styled, with interplay between black currant and bell pepper; amped up with maybe a little more alcohol than fits a classic description. I appreciate the sensibility here — nothing’s overdone or over-stylized. It’s fair and honest.

Vinturied into a decanter and let sit for 45 minutes. Medium+ ruby-purple in colour. Nose of cherries, cocoa, bits of spice, and wet tobacco. On the palate, there are dried red cherries, with some plums and a touch of black olives are noted; some tannins are noticed. Medium bodied with a medium+ finish. Served with bacon wrapped fillet mignon.

Very Nealesque- 8 years and still has many years left. A bit sweeter than most of Mark’s wines. A lot of fruit upfront and great mouthfeel, but a bit of a short finish. Overall a very easy drinking and enjoyable wine.

I bought this on the strength of the '13 vintage, but this doesn't measure up to the personality and complexity of the '13. If I had a dollar for every time I said that about a California red I could buy a bottle of Ch. Latour. The mid-palate is weak, the fruit needs more density and concentration, and is a bit too sweet, this is a decent $25-$30 wine, but not the $50 I paid, sadly I have one more. …

This is the second time in as many months I've tried this wine. The first time, it tasted overly heavy with some hints of what I've come to call the OJ flavor (kind of a citrus type acidic flavor present). It drank well but I wasn't a huge fan. Second bottle didn't have those same notes, profile was a bit lighter and flavors more well integrated. Well balanced and approachable for a 2015 napa cab.

Deep purple color. Full bodied, bold with well balanced tannin. Chewy with a long finish. Plums, Cherries and dark berries, with Oak, cassis and a bit of tobacco. Decant and give this about an hour and it will open up nicely. Very good QPR.

What a great wine! Not sure how Mark and the team do it for the price. Probably the most approachable young Neal I've ever had.

Fruit bomb, jammy, very easy to drink - not sure there is much upside in waiting another year or two

As the wine warmed to temperature it tasted more and more of American oak. We might decant it for longer next time to see if that would help it balance the oak out more. It is a smooth, well balanced wine overall. For the price, this is a solid California Cab. Not overripe in spite of being grown in Yolo’s warm climate.

Interesting Napa Valley Cabernet, honestly tasted blind thought this was very similar to some Paso Robles Cabernets we have reviewed. Deep ruby red. Quite a bit of oak influence on the nose with lots of spices and sweet spices. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. Rich palate with a spicy kick. Some vanilla, cinnamon, anise, cassis, black fruits, cherry pie and a bit toasted too. A touch of heat throughout. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2025.
