Bourgeois-Diaz Champagne BD'N Les Justices

100% Meunier, old vines. Medium golden color,, almost resembling orange/natural wine. Showing beautiful notes of aging, some oxidation, but also very nice notes of chamomile, linden blossom, orchard, some brownish apple, a little orange zest, minerality, almost some almond paste. Medium-full bodied, with very nice pretty high acidity and very good tension. Pretty long finish. This is showing a really nice middleground between oxidative style and enough tension and acidity to be vibrant. Very unique style.

Single vineyard Pinot Meunier planted in 1963. Aged in two 300L horizontal sandstone eggs. Sur latte under natural cork for 4 years. disgorged 7May34 with no dosage. Loads of acid. Richness of fruit, some crisp green orchard notes. Almond on the finish. Think this is just terribly young at the moment.
