Another wonderful Martinborough Pinot Noir. This is a little sappy with smooth, silky, dense dark fruit, well integrated acid, and burnt oak tannins. Strong and solid with some pretty rose notes, it expands in the mouth. I think this is drinking really well and will develop in the bottle for several years. Has some fruit to spare and an energetic acidity. Very nice. B

Weekly tasting group #003; Pinot Noir (@ BS) : Light red. Ripe red forest fruits and some barnyard/organic impressions in the nose. In the mouth soft ripe fruits; cherries, raspberries, strawberries and even some chocolate and some toast. Mild acidity and a touch of sweetness. Pleasant wine.
