Medium gold. Intense, rich complex nose and palate. Powerful: spicy, still with freshness of fruit, but also oily, sumptuous palate, integrated, balanced acidity, persistent and long. Impressive

Barrel aged or fermented color, deep yellow, oily texture. N: oak spice, honey and white flowers. Peppery undercurrent. P: Plush fat wine, no flab. Impressive length. The corks were soaked up to the very tip of the bottle, but no oxidation was detected. Good wine, but not a style that I love. 14% abv.
