Surprising blend of 50/50 cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir from the Nahe region, aged in French oak barrels. Very juicy wine, great concentration, oaky but elegant, complex. Medium intense aromas of cherry, strawberry, blueberry, cassis, vanilla, cedar, tobacco, forest floor, bay leaf, black pepper. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium and fine tannins, medium body, pronounced flavours, long finish. 14% - €40 (restaurant price) @ Meisenheimer Hof, Meisenheim (D)
