My second bottle, the first was six years ago. Same score. At age eight, this wine is in its stride, but it has such reserves of structure and fruit that I expect it to drink well for another ten years. Tasted twice, once when popped and poured, then again one week later. This is an elegant Burgundy-style Pinot Noir with heft, balance and tremendous structure. Red fruit aromas and flavors, with floral notes, a silky mouthfeel and great acid backbone, with a hint of minerals and sweetness on the medium-length finish. Can’t wait to taste this in ten years.
