Though this wine has a bit too high sugar level for what I typical seek in champagne the balance between the acidity and the higher level of sugar is spot on and keeps this wine refreshing and vibrant. It is a very rich and intens champagne. Its base wine is 2012, and dégorgement date is in 2021. I had a similar bottle last year and it has improved and gained complexity with age. While I don't love the price, this wine is really fantastic. Great play of acidity, sugar and fruit. Twist my arm again. Delicious.
