Cooked blueberries, cherry blossom, hot cross bun spice and crystallised violets with dark chocolate. The palate is juicy and succulent, with an irresistible balance between a silky, dark berry richness, and a sappy acidity which gives the wine such freshness and second-sip factor.

This has a cute label with a cute backstory about the producers' children, and the wine delivers on the promise of being a friendly, easy to like, easy to drink malbec. Plenty of plush purple fruits, modest length, gentle, even mouthfeel. Enjoyable without really leaving a mark. Decent value for €12.
