Solid on night one, perfect on night two, and that last glass on day three worked really well. Given all the '13, '14, '15 HOT stuff we have in WA, a cooler vibe is sometimes exactly what you need. Nice mouthfeel, decent finish of dark fruit, and solid tannins all around. PB almost always delivers and I'm happy with this wine.

Silky smooth, nice cherry/berry fruit flavors that finish easy. One of the best merlots consumed, an excellent example of how pleasant a merlot can be. Greatly improved since 2017, when rated 88.

Just lovely. My last bottle was decanted and I think that was a mistake. This bottle and the one two bottles ago were not. Both off the charts delicious. I only have 2 2013 left and I will save them for special occasions.

Incredible wine. It took on a 2010 Heitz Trailside Cab and 2008 Qulcida Creek Cab. The Pepper Bridge was clearly the WOTN.

A little better than last tasted a year ago. The nose slowly emerged over 3-4 hours in the decanter, showing initial notes of red fruits and fireplace ash, followed by herbs, cocoa powder, chocolate, and spice. Very lush and mineral-driven in the mouth, medium-full bodied, and long on the finish. Not especially complex, but it's good now, and likely will improve for years to come. I wish I had more!

Aromas of dark cherries, graphite, and sweet oak. Silky tannins and soft mouth feel, nice acidity with some minerality. Elegant, full-bodied, well balanced.

Stored in a climate controlled cellar since purchased last year on release. This showing was not as positive as it was a year ago. At first, no nose to speak of, and a fairly light, simple experience in the mouth. However, after 3-4 hours in the decanter, things improved. The nose never really blossomed, but your typical cocoa and plum notes emerged alongside a subtle hint of eucalyptus. It gained weight in the mouth as well, showing a medium-bodied and …

Fabulous Merlot. Competes with any Napa Merlot or even BDX Merlot. I had it against an Alpha Omega II and it did hold its own. But the AO II is cheaper.
