Hill of Content Pinot Noir

Excellent value

Medium ruby with a light purple rim. A gamey nose with some cherry and plum notes (could easily be mistaken for a modest Burg). Thin and weedy on the palate. Highly acidic, with green fruits. Originally tasted from the Riedel Extreme Burgundy glass in a much smaller glass the wine came off much better with more fruit and a little less acid. However, a good wine should not require masking.
