Gaja Tasting at my local store : From Bolgheri, a blend of Vermentino and Viognier On the nose, intense Viognier flowery, musky perfume and something resembling Riesling petrol. On the palate, stone fruit, grapefruit. Some phenolic bitterness, a la citrus rind. Texture is thick and oily, which contrasts with the fresh acidity in the finish. I want to have this with some fresh crudo.
