Not as good as the first bottle, dark red no real opaqueness, flat on the nose and dull in the mouth and it did have a decent time open, not sure if this is all bottle variation as someone else suggested or simply not very good, I go with the later from my experiences with it.

Good everyday drinking Rioja, needs a bit of air probably more than I gave it as it was still improving. As a crianza can't see any more time in cellar is going to improve it, drink up.

Much better then the last bottle. Bottle variation or additional rest time? Hard to tell, but I’d guess it’s time. It still needs a little air, but I no longer regret this purchase.

Meh. Completely underwhelmed, even for $14 from WTSO. Almost no fruit; a blanket of thick, heavy tannins across my tongue; moderate minus complexity and finish (and that's being kind). Might improve with a year or more of bottle age, but I wouldn't bet on it. Unless this bottle was somehow off, the Lopez de Haro Reserva is a much better wine for about the same price.
