The first taste was saline and the wine softened in the glass to show a crisp, rich palate with citrus and stone fruits. A restaurant choice which was a fine partner to Loch Duarte smoked salmon followed by Cornish cod with a celeriac and chicken butter sauce.

Surprisingly high flavor intensity, including bruised apples and maybe nectarine (or other stone fruit) on top of the expected expected lemon flavor. Alcohol felt fairly high, and therefore body was also quite full.

Lovely nose, fragrant, orange blossom, potpourri, lilac, lemon pith. Palate fresh for an orange style, tart, deep citrus layers, phenolic grip, apricot, dried spice, dry finish.
