Dr. Loosen, Erdener Pralat Riesling GG Alte Reben, Mosel

Incredibly opulent notes of exotic fruit. But unfortunately corked.

Juicy lime pickle flavour with a spillage of diesel. Lack a bit of intensity for me although I could easily knock back a bottle without thinking.

Green apple, melon, very delicate petrol in aroma, high acidity and enough residul sugar made this like off-dry. In palette minerals, honey, lots of fruit. Rich and concetrated.

Not much acidty - slightly off bottle?

When it is straight out of bottle, the acidity is quite high. Intense lime and tangy and petrol flavours are all over the place. After 1 hour of aeration, peach, pear, melon and lime flavours start to develop. After another hour aeration, the flavours become more well integrated. Floral flavours start to shine through, and it develops considerable depth. The finish is persistent but not overpowering, with a tingling sense of sweetness. It's rather pleasing, subtle and has rather refined.

A hint of petrol on the nose, quite delicate, ripe fruit, slightly herbal, mineral, great depth. On the palate again delicate and elegant with a nice mineral core; lots of fruit, lots of acidity - lovely balance. Very fine length, great vibrancy to the finish. 93-95
