Deep purple color, peppery nose, well balanced palette. Good tasting wine!

Quite a bit of spice on the nose and taste. Good medium tannin in the back of the mouth. A huge bargain for the price.

Enormous pencil box on the nose when I poured it into the decanter, and still quite present in the glass two hours later. Also just a touch of menthol/eucalyptus on the nose. Nice cherry cola on the palate. Not a long finish.
