this was absolutely fantastico. smless like wood, dust, some cassis, cherry and FLOWERS. on the palate it is JUICY+, soft, some chili and ash, jalapeõ rollercoaster. a fantastic combination and everthing blends perfectly.

This is of course way too young. Yet I was bored as we suffer another pandemic lockdown weekend. Nose is dense with black forest berries, leather and some pencil shavings. Taste is dense and thick with black cherries, blackberries, and blackcurrants, leather, and pipe tobacco. But then the scorching heat takes over. This is great wine, proper goldilocks - nothing is wanting or OTT. 100% Cab franc. The bottle says 16% ABV - but it does not taste overly alcoholic. Great balance of fruit and structure. The fruit is good but at the same time it is elegant. In fact it is very Bordeaux like. Mainly black and hints of red fruit. Medium body, fine ripe tannin, good acidity, medium plus.
