Still rather dark in colour with some evolution around the rim. Evolved on the nose - notes of smoke, spices, meat, minerality. Fresh on the palate, still some fruit left, hardly any noticeable tannins, smooth and rather long. Very gentle and soft. Drink up. 90-92

The fruit is gone but what is left is great - an incredible ashy core. An adventure!

Classic Cote Rotie, developing delicious if a bit lean magic brett profile, tastes sharply of iron and blood. Got better and better with air.
