Really nice just now. Good with spice and meat. Keep for another year.

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry and cherry. It tastes like tea and cherry and some sort of uncategorisable herb. The body is light. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. Ho-hum; pretty plain Malbec. Not worth more than $20 CAD.

This is one of those wines that says Reserve on the label, and means it. It also costs almost twice as much as your typical grocery store Argentinian Malbec, but one again seems to worth consideration. To me it seems a little deeper and richer than typical. The oak is slightly more pronounced and integrated. Some orange peel and roasted red raspberry with the blackberry and other dark fruits. Still young and vibrant. Could really use a decant. Gritty tannins …

Perfectly drinkable, but not overly exciting. Fruity and pleasant, but not a lot of depth or complexity.

Drank in Mendoza Reasonable everyday Malbec. Very primary with some harsh angles in the mouth.

Good wine, but won't Be a strady guest in my cellar. There are better ones out there.

Did a pop-n-pour of this wine as a second bottle on Friday night and was impressed by the balance between the fruit and oak. By the last glass the aromas of cherry pie were evident and I kept 1/2" in the glass for swirling and sniffing. Sometimes at the end of a nice evening when you really are not "thirsty" there is still a great pleasure in enjoying the scents given off by a decent wine. What an amazing beverage …

Similar experience to the last bottle. This was a very nice deal a couple years ago with big plum fruit, nice round tannins, and good acidity. It's losing it's structure and has nice rich fruit but not much tannin/acid backbone to it. Just a good bottle of wine now.

It's been awhile since I drank a bottle so hopefully this is not indicative of how it ages. Still a couple bottles left. Primarily a big styled Plum, dark fruit wine with plenty of acidity and decent tannins. This one did not have the acid or tannins expected so a little flabby. A very good wine but lacking the mouth feel and crispness of previous bottles.

Full-bodied but not a huge malbec. Got better after a couple of hours, but still didn't knock me out like some other malbecs in this price range. Okay wine, might buy again but not real excited.

RUSSK Solid effort. Full-bodied, nose of violets, some fruit, too much alc (14.5%). Certainly drinkable, but slowly b/c of the alc, but not that compelling or interesting.

Dark, full bodied Malbec - well balanced, immediately after uncorcking there is quite some oak and acidity, about two hours the wine became more fruity and smoother. Would buy again.

Terroir-istes International - Chile & Argentina (Rodwell House) : light+ crimson, the aromas are bold with ripe morello cherry, spice and black plum. Plum skin in texture, this full bodied wine is creamy textured, with a thick juiciness and richness to the mid-palate underscored with lively, green apple edged acidity. Griottes cherry and plum abound with some smears of vanilla, yet the wine displays a slightly extracted finish with a touch of volatility. Chewy tannins on the finish. Solid.
