EVENING WITH LIMERICK LANE IN PHILLY I was fortunate to be invited by Karen, new owner of Limerick Lane to a wine dinner hosted in Philadelphia. I had stopped purchasing these wines about 10 years ago, as the house style seemed to drift towards a more extracted, tannic wines with bit of heat. Fast forward 10 years, and it is clear the style has changed. The current winemaker seems to favor a more finessed style that highlights the lovely fruits. …
