Late night at Maison Dakota with Frenchie peeps. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of candied red cherries, pure ripe red berries, brambles, licorice. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), firm medium tannins, medium+ body. Bottle #161/627 Enchanting! Perfumed red roses, dark red berries, peppery spices. On the palate it has bright flavours, loads of boysenberries and floral, deep earthy note. Fresh and sensual. What a seductive Nuits St Georges from a great vintage!
