Bruno Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes

Pale gold;subdued nose of pear, lemon a little oak but all scents are closer to neutral (none) than a true bouquet; lite body, crisp, flavor more of wood than of fruits or spices; fast finish since there is such a lite aroma and taste, there's not much to linger on the palate. Oh well........

I opened this last night. Shows off well the quality of the vintage. Medium yellow. Not particularly "leggy." Nice combo of minerals, citrus and melon in the nose. Mouthwatering wine, with beautiful balance brought about by bright acidity. This is good stuff, and it lasts awhile in the mouth. Seems to have a long future ahead, so I wish I had more. Shows you needn't necessarily lay out huge dollars for good white burgundy. 4-12-17-9: 92/100.

Serious C-M here! Loaded, concentrated, powerful and yet, so elegant. Very lovely!

Very good now although still young but really a testament to this great vintage. Great balance between the Chassagne richness and a nice mineral backbone.

This was my second bottle of this wine, and I loved both of them. A beautiful nose. Bright, complex fruit with excellent balance and length. Just delicious. An outstanding Chassagne from a great vintage.

I just can't get over how good 2014 white Burgundies are and this wine is no exception. Beautiful nose and palate. Flinty reduction, then apple, pear, honey, a hint of vanilla. Chalk, limestone and gobs of acid. Silky finish a mile long. Amazing.

I wanted to like this wine more than I did. It had good minerality, with complexing notes of honey and blossom, but lacked any delicious, distinctive fruit. It was pretty bland citrus but without any depth or length. Ok to drink but eminently forgettable and a bit of a miss for the vintage.

Outstanding, a touch young, only will get yummier.
