Macerated for 8 weeks with the skins, aged for 21 months in 225-liter barriques (25% new). 13,5% alcohol, 0,9 g/l residual sugar. Such a pretty, but complex wine. Speaks of the northern Rhone- olive, meaty notes on the nose. But Palate is so crisp and lithe, it's never heavy or tedious. Fresh and Clean as a whistle. Really opens with some air and you get some juicy red fruit and the 90min mark. Still holding. No rush. Good wine.

The nose wows with the most attractive and pure, sweet blackberry fruit and notes of iron, wet leaves, black pepper and spices (oak-derived?) reminiscent of the ever approaching Christmas holidays. Aromatic and expressive and just very charming. Medium-bodied on the palate with delightfully juicy fruit, very mellow tannins and lively but not necessarily super high acidity. Such an engaging young Syrah from Baden in Germany. Black pepper, olive, meaty notes on the nose. Hermitage ringer. Palate is so lithe, leightweight, yet impactful. Fresh and Clean as a whistle. Pure. Some upside, too, it seems.

Dark fruit on the nose, bacon, woodsmoke, black pepper. On the palate fresh and bright with good concentration of fruit, ripe tannins and decent length. Drink or keep. 90-92
