Medium red colour. Simple and clean red fruit nose. Light on the forward palate with a very bold almost burnt tannin finish. Not what I expected from a Barossa - not a soft round smooth red but the opposite. Needs food.

Dark ruby. Bramble and saline minerality. Lots of dark berries but also savoury cedar and a perfumed lift of white flowers. A touch of Viognier? Very good concentration, good balance with no great oak influence. Not a hint of heat. Elegant. Great value!
