Still 90 - a well balanced wine where you get mature cherries - its well balanced and smooth - but the mature cherries also tells you that this is a wine that should be drunk relative soon - but still a good experience and good value for money.

Biondi Santi 2004 vs Conti Costanti 2004 (My house) : Beautiful cherry color, the nose is very fruity but also earthy. On the palate is vibrant and juicy. Pleasant wine to drink with light food or before some more complex ones.

Light and easy to drink. The tannins and acidity are notable, but well integrated (makes it possible to save it for a couple of years if one prefer). It delivers a lot of fruit, especially cherries and blackberries, and a little licorice. The balance is good, the complexity moderate (expected) and it's good value for money for sure.
