Drinking very well. Brick red, lots of red and black fruit on the nose, along with some floral notes. More of the same on the palate, with a bit of spice. Dry, with medium acidity, medium and supple tannins, alcohol was high but balanced, medium body. Not an exceptionally long finish, but this was a lovely wine that even improved over the evening. Paired well with a beef stew.

Bright garnet belly, will only a mild brick rim. A tary burnt liquorice nose with lots of dark red fruits. Cassis and vanilla arrive at the end. Black currant and blueberry on the palate with a very long finish. Strawberry coming in at the tail. Excellent integration of constituents. At its peak and should stay there for a couple of years.

From a magnum and decantered for 2hrs. Dominant cassis and tobacco flavours. Lovely.

Fantastic wine! A real pleasure to drink it. Decanted 1 hour. Deep garnet colour. Huge nose of damsons and rich fruit. On the palate it's rich and warming. So smooth. Long finish. A great wine, at its peak now.

Garnet red with some bricking around the edges. Some dirty notes of the nose with a little greenery and soft dark berries in the finish. Moderate tannins (7/10) with good acidity, a little higher than expected. Mainly red berries on the palate with some savory herbs in the finish. Medium plus bodied and medium plus finish. Tastes a little older than an 09. Drink till 2018.

This had a distinct veggie nose on opening, but after decanting for 3 hours, the expected dark fruits became evident. A reasonable bottle, but not really exciting, so at £20/bottle it's poor value for money.

Drinking extremely well now and definitely not past its prime. The cab franc and petit verdot come through strongly.

Donkerpaars van kleur, veel zwart fruit, kersen, zwarte bessen en vanille. Medium+ zuren, full body, volle zachte tannines, zwart fruit, specerijen, pittig, lange afdronk. Mooie, volle zware wijn, echter niet complex of spannend. Kan nog liggen, maar zal niet beter worden.

Dark cherry core (almost black) with a red rim. Mineral nose (coal) It's sibling (Fusion V) has a more Bordeaux style nose and palate. This is more Cal Cab. Its big spicy with some menthol. Très beau vin typé bordeaux, à la robe sombre, au nez de fruits noirs, d'épices, de barrique, de chêne, mais tout en élégance, sans lourdeur. En bouche un vin d'une belle puissance, relatant le nez mais avec une acidité présente offrant une belle fraîcheur en bouche. Les tanins sont présents mais sont maîtrisés grâce au plat principal. Bouteille à conserver offrant un excellent potentiel et bien du plaisir.

My goodness, this is interesting: hot slate, drying paint, wet chalk on the nose. Juicy dark fruit with soft-soft tannins, excellent acidity, and the tiniest hit of dark chocolate on the end. Dig.
