Final of 12 bottles, this wine has blossomed nicely over the years. Showing off tense lemon/lime fruit, with salty persistence and a nutty overtone. Brisk and tight, even after 11 yrs...and for the paltry tariff of $17 USD. What a value, drink this one through 2028+.

melon (& mâcon) : i recall drinking a couple bottles of this vintage >2000 days ago (it was 18 bucks). Today it is absolutely crucial to open and aerate the thing. It emerged just a little tired, sweet, boozy, bitter, and with acids mulled and concentrated. Now, four hours later, it's tonic and mouthwatering. Filled with scraps of dried peach-apricot, yellow pollen, mint jam. Remotely: crab pear and minced green apple core. Steeply scented, shadowy coastal sand, wet-piled tea. The …

Delicious smooth, fine wine with a long mineral and lemon finish.

Drinking fine, I'm not sure time in the bottle has caused it to flesh out or put on weight, for my tastes, was probably a bit better at its more vibrant release point.

8th bottle of a full case. Delicious, consumed at Edisto with freshly caught Sea Bass from this AM. Chalky lime, saline, oyster shell, a hint of grapefruit, wet rocks. Just everything in perfect order, lovely with fresh seafood. Drink now through 2025 or so.

Significant leesy notes, lemon and mineral notes, apple hints. Palate remarkably round - likely reflecting vintage - but with deep mineral underpinnings. Lees aging really comes out here. deep apple with citrus hints on palate. Mineral really sings here.

Bottle 7 of 12. PnP and consumed with a grilled chicken zatar dish. Bright lime and ocean breeze on the nose, with a lithe and delicate presence on the palate. This is a perfect food wine, especially for seafood. The wine is a bit better than a bottle I had 6 months ago. Very good spine of acidity allows the minerality and salinity to show through, alongside limes and perhaps grapefruit zest. What a deal at $17 USD. Can you …

Quite nice, mineral-driven Muscadet.

5th bottle from a full case. Salinity and minerality trumps the light citrus fruit in this linear, refreshing, and chalky wine. I love a wine like this with oysters or sushi. Drink now through 2024+.

Highly textured - as someone said below (wish I could think of a better description); somewhat saline. A bit richer, rounder, than I expected this to be. I did like the wine; but it was somewhat more developed than I thought this would at this time .. which threw me off initially. I assumed that a Muscadet would have more lemony fruit at this time.

Very pretty Muscadet, enjoyed alongside artichokes and rye bread. Very nice pairing, the wine showed more chalky and lemon flavors, pairing nicely with the earthiness of the artichokes. Bright acidity and a crisp finish, delicious.

Tasty Muscadet, more minerals and chalk than fruit, but that is the point with this wine. Quite refreshing, drink now through 2025+.

Restrained nose of lemon and other citrus fruits. Lots of stony minerality and highly textured. Enjoyable for its preciseness though relatively uncharismatic.
