Deep red purple in the glass. Plush plummy cassis with hint of vanilla on the nose. Velvety tannins on entry and through to finish. Cassis, dark berries, and that hint of vanilla through the palate. Almost New World in style, though the terrroir and obvious Cab Franc influence keeps it OW. Approachable and good with food now, but should be interesting once it hits ten in 2016. Enjoy while you wait for your '05 Saint-Émilion and Pomerol to come around. …
