Drank at Venissa in Venice after returning the first local Bdx blend suggested by the waiter. An ok Cab based wine with plenty of oak. Not sure this will integrate with more time

Clear, bright, ruby colored red wine with medium concentration and medium rim variation. On the nose, the wine shows moderate intensity with youthful smelling black fruit aromas of plums, macerated black cherries and blackberry liqueur. Non-fruit aromas of black licorice, lilac and sarsaparilla. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium weight.
