Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir Delinea 300

Last bottle from the cellar, and I have to say this was a great purchase. Excellent balance and acidity, fruit still vibrant showing classic sour cherries on the palette. Found this to be an excellent PV.

Cherry, earthy, mushrooms

Really like this producer and find the minerality and fruit on this pinot quite impressive. Typically lively and fresh fruit, cherries and red fruits, with a medium-light weight. Held together nicely, short finish, but the acidity and minerality pops through. Perhaps a sign of some interesting terroir, regardless a lovely wine to sip on its own or as an accompaniment with lighter meats and fish.

This wine is a lot about its mineral extravaganza. Fabulous as a transparent, nervy PN. At least if you are in to this sort of thing. Aggressively young but already sporting a rather interesting nose of strawberries and PN aromas. The palate is acidic and mineral driven to and needs quite some time to come together fully. Spring Bacchanal with Winemaker Ken Wright (Roti Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan) : Clove, smoke over red berries - especially unripe strawberries - and cream. Very juicy, unripe red strawberries with plentiful, slightly course tannic grip. Hmm.

Pale ruby colour. Aromatic and savoury with root, pepper, and herb over rounding, cherry fruit nose. Light-med bodied with very good flavor replays, acidity and balance. 4/5

Beautiful Oregon Pinot. Light ruby colour. Slightly green on the nose. Soft tannins and a little bit of pepper finish. Big fan.

Very well put together and balanced. Good value and quality. Red fruits. Perhaps a little short. Good balance
