Sweet red fruit, spices, some vanilla and a few tannins. Better in a modern / US cabernet-merlot glass and even better with some beef. This is very similar to the Bottle King private label merlots we drink - although I prefer those a little. Good QPR. Would also be excellent with a Beyond Beef curry.

Delicious. Nicely subtle and balanced, soft but plush dark fruits and some hidden savory earthy notes, waves of savory spice. Silky tannins and medium-full body, low acidity. Might have been sweet tobacco leaf. Good length on the finish. Reeeaal easy sipper; let’s just say the bottle went quicker than wet anticipated!

Medium ruby-purple, moderate tears, medium clarity. Nose is full, but somewhat soft. Berries; cherry sweetness, light red berry jam, blueberry. Possibly a fresh leather. Palette is a supple, medium-bold body; a semi-sweet berry party moves on with smooth, moderate tannins and low-medium acidity. Baking spices, maybe anise, mild baking chocolate all dance calmly but playfully. It finishes medium-long where the anise comes forward with some violet undertones. Very nice!
