Nose: fresh cherries and blackberries in combination with meadow flowers and a little mint ( pleasant) Palete: great balance, tannins smooth and fresh fruits with floral tones and dry herb de Provence. Long medium bodied finish! Great experience

Light and past it's prime. Drank over the evening before and after decanting and never changed.

Nose with grass, herbs, pine needles - spices and smoke. Deep red fruit, with plums, cola and ripe blackberries, smoke and leather along with some sweet tobacco leaf's and wet soil. Silky with rather cool palate - not cooked as the rest of the appellation has shown in this vintage - sweet but not to sweet. Long and quite balanced with finely grained tannins. Finally a decent bottle of CndP from the totally completely unbelievable overhyped by "certain experts" awful …

Pretty wine with a lively palate, some ash, red currant and plum. Somewhat astringent on the back end, but enjoyable

Dark purple center, fading to ruby near the glass with slight bricking. Fireplace and cedar on the nose. Decanted 30 minutes. Savory and earthy notes, with slightly faded prunish dark fruits and gobs of minerals. Lacks vibrancy. Flavors are interesting but I wouldn't call them delicious. Drink soon.

The nose is all plum jam at this point. The fruit on the palate has dulled a bit but there is still plenty of texture and just enough acidity to keep things interesting. I'd drink now or in the next 2 years max.

Took a while to open up but ultimately a lot life. Mice balance with plenty of spice.

Showing its age and glad it is my last bottle. Had a bottle a week ago that tasted much younger. Good value for a CdP that was fun to drink within the first 10 years.

I have to respectfully disagree with Drewdown. After reading his review I got a little nervous as I have just started drinking them this year. I opened a 375 and enjoyed it. Dark Cherry, plum, a hint of tobacco and some spices with a nice finish. Perhaps he just had a bad bottle.

This one's over the hill in 375's.

Better than the bottle I had three months ago. From a 375, we pnp'd and had with a selection of cheese. Fruit on the nose, red cherry, plum, cola with a hint of spice on the palate. The finish was nice and smoother than I remember.

Was a little restrained upon opening but the added age has integrated this wine. Grenache not as sharp as it used to be and has blended well with other varieties. Better and much more fruit driven on next day. Seemed to me favor was of juicier fruits such as cherry and blackberry. Nice.

Opened a375 while catching up on some programs, let it sit open for an hour. The nose was red fruit, the palate was cherry, cola and a little spice. The finish was moderate.

This is such a weird wine. Every bottle I have opened has been flat or mediocre at best. The nose has some mild hints of traditional CDNP but the palate was one dimensional. It has been like this for all the bottles that I have opened since the original purchase from Garagiste.

Pungoed a glass last night with very low expectations and low and behold was actually quite intriguing - so much so I thought about it all day today in anticipation of digging into rest of the bottle tonight. High toned, red cherry and mineral on nose. Very soft with more red fruits and mineral, which lasts a substantially long time on palate. With time develops some earth and a bit of bitter herbs. A blockbuster wine? No but not bad …

Softer than last bottle, rounded with no hard edges. Nice, silky, maturing fruit. A bit warm with some heat from the alcohol but that fades with food on the table. Really quite nice, better than expected. Perhaps the 2007s are coming round?

Dark red core with a light orange'ish edge. Good fruit and good balance. Plum, prunes and a bit of liqurice. Nice. Still more time left.

Probably getting a bit old now. Very strong nose - almost Pinotage or Musar but more thin on the taste. Still very pleasant but drink pretty soon methinks.

Very pleasant but not knock out and maybe not £20/bott. Inclined to drink up in next 12 months.

Cork pulled well and no infiltration. Had expectations that first sip would be the metallic tang of the grenache grape and that didn't occur. It was more balanced with another variety, either that or the added aging had mellowed the grenache. I had the sensation of high alcohol without actually detecting it. But I tell you what. I never had a wine hold on the line like this one. I drank this the next day and the flavors seemed to …

Surprisingly careful but very deep nose with layers of red fruit containing soft cherries and raspberries. There are also under vegetation, notes of medicine cabinet and dark minerals. The palate is not at all as fruity and instead dark minerals, stone and a rather harsh acidity takes over. There is also a very distinct herbal note from menthol. The finish is long but quite bitter. This wine has an intriguing nose but the palate and finish does not live up …

After aging a couple years this has smoothed out considerably. Still a primary wine with ripe fruit and integrated sweet oak. I don't expect it to develop any secondary flavors and the alcohol comes out after being open a day or two.
