A California twist on a traditional Italian grape...bigger, bolder, fruitier...less interesting than Italian Dolcetto's I've had, but it was good.

I'm not a fan of this. Nose is so much heat that nothing else comes through for me. After long decanting there is not much improvement at all. Taste of cherry and burnt raisins.
