Still pretty good considering 9 year age and low price. Retained plenty of fruitiness. Great QPR.

for a wine that i didn't think would have much left, this is quite surprising. soft blunt earthy aromas. but really still rather fruity. more than enough complexity for $10. ride on Turner Road, ride on!!! drink now to 2013.

Maybe its because i paid $5 for this wine... but i was so impressed. It over delivered on the nose, but its hard to put my finger on all of the aromas... plum, smoke, cigar and fruity sweetness. I find that some shiraz/syrah wines are so fruity that you cant have them with food, but this one has great fruit but it doesn't over power the tongue. Decant this wine if you have time as it has a good amount …

Wine had a great aroma. Medium bodied, only moderately tannic. Good fruit characterstics. I had lots of sediment in the bottle. Overall very good, but its ready to drink now.

Drinkable, but not particularly exciting in any regard. Light purple color. No real complexity on the palate, just lots of plum and a bit of pepper. Forgettable finish. A significant amount of sediment remains. Drinkable for the price, but I would not personally buy.

This was the second bottle a few months later. Better, the first one tasted like crap-literally. This was just ok. Average, so rating it that way. Tastes ok beg. to mid, somewhat earthy on the finish. Alright as a cheap drink but would not rec' or buy again.

strong smoky fruit nose. jam & fruit, little pepper. was hoping it would be more complex/interesting after the nose. overall, simple and drinkable. for a $6 closeout, good deal, good wine. (84) Really livened up by day 2 (had popped and poured on day 1) showing more fruit and jam, with a good balance of pepper to round it out. Wonder how this would be in a couple years. Very nice wine, I'm going to bump it up to a …

Thick, dark red with some brick. Some nose. This is a dense Syrah with leather, dark fruit that is on the edge of jam (a bit much). I liked the bottle but would not purchase again. Good QPR.

Decent wine; on sale; let it breathe a while before drinking as it seems to enhance the taste; good table wine
