Large surface area decent for four hours and tasted throughout—really alcohol forward in the first hour but mellowed out beautifully by hour four. Not a lot of complexity (probably just past its peak), but just a juicy, lovely tasting bottle. Would suggest drinking now purely for enjoyment, not to impress your wine snob friends.

Neighbor Spanish tasting night #4. Deep ruby color. Pronounced nose of ripe black fruits, vanilla, cedar, forest floor with a tinge of honey. Dry, mellow acidity, grainy tannins, deeptaste of ripe lush blackberry, blackcurrant, vanilla. Full bodied and long finish. Good balance. Great stuff.

Big cab. Deep rich. Lots of Blackberry. After it opens up, a even more, deep delicious Napa cab.

Starting to show a bit of age now with some grit and earthy, savory notes emerging. Still a delicious and well crafted wine, but unsure how long the fruit will hold on moving forward.

A buttery nose followed by a big bright fruit explosion on the mid palate. Plenty of years ahead but drinking well enough out of the bottle now. Broiled meat on a short but still tannic and rich finish. Given the $60+ price, not sure I'm rushing to this over other offerings. Just sayin'.

Wonderful, full bodied cab. More on the jammy side - which I like, more than the "earthy" cabs. Seems like it's drinking great now, don't think we should wait too long to drink the next or maybe....
