Magenta color, with a clear rim, this has aromas of cedar, currants, vanilla and baking spices. Blackberry cobbler, cassis, and dark cherries flow across the palate to a full, lengthy finish. This is a rich, dry red, full bodied, fruit forward, with finely grained tannins. A smooth, nicely balanced blend of Syrah, Malbec, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Petit Verdot. Very enjoyable!

Deep ruby complexion, cardamom, fennel, rubber, crushed earth, ripe cherry and blackberry. Smooth flow with a delicate balance, this is an interesting blend of Syrah, Malbec, Zinfandel along with petite Syrah and petite Verdot. It has lushness, tannins and delicious finish.

Ok wine. Definitely needs time to open. Bold fruit on the nose of plum, blackberry, and red cherry. String notes of slate and some woody. Not my favorite Chapp.

Good weeknight wine; very Zinfandel heavy on the palate.

High octane peppery fun wine.Chappellet always produces a fine wine at a fair price point.

Zippy blend, good with food. Full bodied with deep dark colors. Jammy flavors from Zin,Malbec, and Syrah/PS. A bit hot at first, bit smoothed out, and has a nice finish. Club wine with relatively good QPR.

Beautiful blend. I found it to be rich and heavier on the palate - plum & blackberry with oak on the finish. Lovely wine - will get even better with time.

Decent wine. Very bright and fruity. Light. I disagree with Chappellet's write up that it is "weighty and rich". I didn't find it to be. At least not at this point. I'd put it in the red fruit, lighter more subtle style. I tried two bottles and over two days. Consistent in the bottles and much better the first day.
