Medium-garnet core. Beautiful nose of pure cherry and asian spice. Light-bodied, with high acidity and no discernible tannins. Lots of red fruit upfront, with a bit of citrus on the finish. If there is any oak, it's very subtle indeed. Good length. Still reminds me of an excellent cru beaujolais. I'm not sure this will improve much more, and seems to be in a good place right now, with the fruit still in its prime.

The creaminess has receded to leave blackberry, cherry cla and cloves. You can still fel the structure from the tannins though they've settled to frame clean drive and freshness. Lingers long with a subtle citrus finish

Bright, medium ruby-garnet core with pale garnet rime. Simple but bright nose of intense sweet cherry and cola. On the palate, the attack is slightly off-dry, with balanced acidity and no discernible tannins. This has acquired a lovely, primary exuberance since the last time tasted (about one year ago) and seems to be heading in a good direction.

The nose is rather shy, even after some air, and shows mostly bright cherry and a bit of orange. Slightly off-dry on the attack, but otherwise dry, with relatively high (but balanced) acidity and a low amount of tannin. Not particularly complex at present in terms of flavors: bright cherry upfront, with hints of vanilla on the midpalate and a pleasant, slightly bitter aftertaste. Interestingly, this reminds me of a young Morgon from a ripe year, so this may yet …

what an interesting wine. Smells of raspberries, blackberries and lashings of cream. Very smooth palate, big tannins but all ironed out, full bodied, spicy and warm. Needs a touch more time to flesh out.
