Wow, just great. Now approaching an orangish tone, this bubbly has clearly evolved beyond youth and has entered a glorious middle age. Vanilla cream, brioche, crumb cake, and all that. This embarrasses almost all Champagne at the same price.

My last bottle of this vintage. Still doing very well. Not as much green apple as more recent vintages, but still very fruity and crisp. Very good.

Good but a bit oxidized...perhaps poor storage conditions?

Fantastic bread-dough nose. A little rustic and slightly sour, but still among the top 5 or so American sparkling wines I've had.

Opened for Amanda & Dan's marriage proposal on our deck - Excellent even after all these years; A bit of spice & apple - very elegant.

Swordfern Wine Tasting #8: Sparkling Wines (Paul & Kelli's: Seattle, WA) : Tasted blind as part of sparkling wine tasting party. Wine of the night for me, and I was certain this was the one from Champagne. Pleasantly surprised to see it was from Oregon and $40 cheaper! On the nose, total yeast-bomb; like a bakery exploded in my nose. On the palate, lots of toasty little bubbles destroying my palate (in a good way). Amazing finish of honeynut cheerios …

An excellent sparkling wine that can stand up to any competition whether US or international. Dry with lots of tiny bubbles. Enjoy with fish, shellfish, dessert, appetizers or on it's own. It's a celebration in your mouth.

Fragrant nose of cantelope and musk melon, some floral notes and baking spice and a hint of yeast. On the palate the wine is creamy and luxurious with flavors of blackberry, strawberry and cream soda. Great Oregon sparkler!

Anita House: Light bread, melon nose; very clean mouth, nice a’s, delicate; not a lot of bang for the buck, though.
