Tenuta Rapitalà Sicilia Nuhar

Excellent QPR. The Nero d'Avola gives this wine a nice richness of dark fruit and rustic flavors. The Pinot gives it another layer of complexity with pretty notes of wild flowers and strawberries. Very fruit forward for an Italian wine. The two grapes combine quite nicely, and give the wine a very large range of food pairings from lighter chicken and fish dishes to richer tomato and red meat.

Bright black fruit, niceacidity, some what boring but tasty. 70% Nero d'Avola, 30% Pinot Nero
