Paramoor Pinot Noir Joan Picton

Ripe, tangy fruited style. Lacks little finesse but seems to work well enough. Nose shows very good lift of fully ripe and sour fruits, but there's a nice cherry fruit underlay. Less fruity on the palate, in fact shows more of the piecing, sour, salty fruits, but certainly not with the intensity of a Bass Phillip (for instance). Just not enough here to lift it from the pack.
